F-POS 3.65/G32
MP.X
F-POS 3.65/G32 - Over 1000 instalations
POS solution for a 4x4 Sales Regime
In all cases when selling is done under difficult conditions where speed and reliability are required, where there is a high turnover of goods and a large number of customers, it is essential to have reliable cash registers at POSs, capable of working under "impossible conditions". The FILOS F-POS is a cash register programme, designed for the demanding circumstances of sales in markets, supermarkets and megamarkets. F-POS's basic characterestics are robustness, speed, and long-term, uninterrupted operation, all fundamental preconditions for operation at sites with a large number of customers per hour passing through checkout counters.
Ongoing design - breaking through the final barriers
Along with the traditional features of all POS programmes - reliability and operating speed - the market also demands modern functions to make shopping more attractive and more fun for their customers. It's not enough today merely to follow trends, one has to create them and offer them to customers.
The F-POS design is conceived as an ongoing process conditioned by current market demands and based on constant assessment of future needs. In this way, a considerable part of the functionality of F-POS-a actually lies in breaking through the final barriers of the unknown and the innovative in retail and wholesale.
Old hardware need not be a limiting factor in modern sales
Since investment in hardware is a major item in the costs of large sales chains, the features offered by F-POS are important as they provide for the possibility of work with a broad range of diverse hardware. This allows investment in new hardware to be planned for long-term, without concerns that old hardware will be an obstacle to state-of-the-art sales services at the checkouts.
A dual platform in one information system
Using F-POS 3.65 on older hardware, parallely with F-POS G32 on new hardware, uniformity of the system is achieved, independently of the type of cash register already in place within the system. The F-POS 3.65 system is a 16-bite platform which attains its best results on DOS operating systems, while the F-POS G32 32-bite platform is oriented to MS Windows operating systems. Both versions are developed parallely and can be used at the same time within the one system.

The choice of the cash register is up to you
The programme is primarily designed for operation on the hardware made by the leading world producers, such as: IBM, WINCOR/NIXDORF, DELL, POSIFLEX, ICL, NCR. Operation is also supported on classic PC computers, but only with the use of high quality POS peripheries.
High-quality Bar Code Scanners for speedy operation
In order to ensure a brisk flow of merchandise through the Points-Of-Sale, it is recommended that the BAR-CODE scanners be of high quality, for example, PSC and SYMBOL. Using a 360 degree laser scanner, the speed of merchandise flow approaches the theoretical number of 3 500 items per hour
Advanced Special Sales Actions and the Loyalty System.
Today's markets are so developed that customers have to be treated with special attention, and they are attracted by well thought out and prepared Special Action sales and the advantages offered to them by Loyalty Systems. F-POS contains modules with built-in algorithms for analysis of consumer baskets in real time, so that linked sales can be defined within numerous algorithms such as:
- consumer baskets at a set price;
- tied sales by groups;
- tied sales by defined lists of articles; and,
- programmed Happy Hour sales.
Prizes can include:
- set percentage discounts;
- set amount discounts;
- gift articles;
- Loyalty points;
- coupons;
- gift vouchers; and,
- combinations of the above.
All prizes are registered through the Loyalty System, and turnover is entered into the Loyalty Card balance.

MP.X Store Manager Programme
The MP.X BackOffice Store Management programme has been developed as a high-quality product intended for management of a large number of retail outlets, supermarkets and large shopping centers.
Since an extensive number of locations requires a major IT management system, it is a simple matter to link MP.X with any known (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. In that way, MP.X enables entry into large IT systems without any jagged edges.

Experience to date in the application of the MP.X programme has shown the following important characteristics: robustness and reliability, and what is perhaps the most significant - low costs for its introduction and negligible upkeep outlays, which have related to enhancing the program, and making changes caused by amendment of the Law in the countries in which MP.X is being used.
MP.X can be applied over a wide range of outlets in relation to merchandise turnover, so consequently the data base also has to be wide-ranging, depending on the size of the investment and the requirements of the Client. So it is possible to use all the following data bases: CodeBase, ADS, IBM DB/2, IBM DB/400, MS SQL Server and ORACLE.
